So I had my annual examine today. My Dr. was great and we definitely have a game plan. I feel hopeful that we are going to get some answers soon. She wanted to take advantage of this cycle so this is what is planned so far:
1. We're going to do a post-coital examine on Wednesday (CD 14).
2. Aug 4th (CD20) I'm going to do blood work to confirm O and I will bring in DH's SA.
3. CD 3 blood work when that arrives.
Then we'll go from there. She mentioned trying clomid after all the testing. I asked her if she would monitor me while on clomid and she said no. So I think if we get to that point I'll head to an RE. None the less, I'm excited to get some testing done.
We also talked a little bit about my clotting disorder. I don't remember if I've talked about this here before but I have a bad bruising problem. I am in the process of getting advanced tests to figure out the exact cause. My OB doesn't know for sure without a diagnosis, but she doubts this is a factor. None the less she wants to see the results when I get them. She says it would probably have a bigger effect on how she treats me during pregnancy, then how she deals with the IF. I have to do the blood test on CD1-4 and there is only 1 lab in the city that can do it, so I've been trying for months to get this done. Normally I get AF on thurs/friday and they can't see me. Or I take my migraine medicine within 10 days of getting AF, which means I can't take the test. Annoying. Anyway, hopefully I can get it this month.
So there you have it. Sounds like a good place to start, right?

Glad you are getting started with testing. And good for you for asking about monitoring! Good luck with everything!
I'm so glad you have a plan. Doesn't it feel better knowing? GL with all the testing. I have a blood clotting disorder, MTHFR. I don't know how different that is from the bruising but it will be good to get answers. I'll be thinking of you!
Absolutely a great place to start! I'm very happy for you that you have a plan. It makes things just a little bit easier. Best of luck!
