Fishing & All that Jazz

This weekend my younger sister who lives in NYC came in town to celebrate her 25th birthday. We had a super fun yet exhausting weekend!!! She got in late Friday night, and Saturday morning at 3:30am we all woke up to go deep sea fishing with my mom's BF. DH and I had to be at my mom's house by 4:00am so we could all meet up and drive down to SE Louisiana. We had to arrive at the boat by 5:00am. The boat pulled out of the dock at 5:15am and we didn't get back in until about 7:30PM!! Then of course you have to clean the boat and the fish, so we didn't get back home until 10:30pm!! Needless to say it was a VERY long day. But we all had a blast and managed to not get too sunburned!

I woke up Sunday bright and early to bring papa to church, and then we met up with my mom, her BF, my sister who was in town, DH, my older sister and her FI for a birthday brunch!! We went to my absolute favorite brunch place, Ralph's on the Park, which was having a Jazz Brunch! It was soooo yummy and we had a blast telling all of our stories from the previous day's adventure!! It was a great weekend.

In TTC news, I am 10 DPO and of course just started spotting, so I'm betting AF will show later today or tomorrow. I'm disappointed and discouraged, but hopefully when I go to my annual at the end of this month I will be able to get a game plan together with my doctor.
