Pulling out all the stops

Disclaimer: We have a housekeeper. I know it probably seems ridiculous since it's just 2 of us but we used to fight a lot about cleaning the house so I choose to eliminate that fight.

So I came home yesterday to a wonderfully cleaned house. When I went into my bedroom I realized that my housekeeper had decided we were pulling out all the stops this cycle. On my bedside table she had set my St. Anne prayer card standing up next to my African Fertility Doll (which usually sit on opposite sides of the room from each other).  I guess she really really wants us to get knocked up. Or maybe she just decided we needed some help re-decorating! :-)

And just because they're so stinkin cute:

(They were waiting for me when I came in the bedroom)

And then they decided to play asleep so I wouldn't kick them off the bed.
Bad Ella and Maggie.

This is so funny. I was so paranoid about leaving my thermometer out and our dog walker questioning it. I think your housekeeper is definitely on to you. Hope the extra prayers do the trick!

I hope St. Anne comes through for you.

On advice from my mother I adopted St. Jude (patron saint of desperate cases, lost hope, lost causes). Every chance she got she slipped prayer cards into my purse, my car and my home.

I heart Saints. I'm even cheering for your hometown Saints on Sunday :)

Your housekeeper sounds like a keeper! That is sweet of her. And your furbabies are adorable! Thank goodness for furbabies - they make IF a little more bearable, at least for me. Good luck my dear - I hope your time comes very soon.

That is funny! We had a housekeeper for a while too - I think it's a great idea and it really helped reduce my stress load! (MH hated paying the $, though, so I told him we could cancel the service if he did ALL of the cleaning ;)

Good luck!

Too funny. Kind of a passive-aggressive thing with the Catholic saint card on top to the fertility idols. Oh well, you know you are getting more prayers and positive vibes being sent your way. I am sooo wishing you lots of luck this month. :) P.S. Thanks for the link on your sidebar!!!
