Saturday, cycle 17 started. Since I am still recovering from my surgery its going to have to be a natural cycle. Did you know you can't wear tampons for 2 weeks after a laparoscopy? Consequently, I'm having to use pads, which makes me feel like I'm in 6th grade again. its horrible. (sorry if that's tmi for some of you ;-)
My recovery took a drastic turn for the better after my last post. I woke up friday morning feeling relatively "normal" which was a great gift. I spent the day tiddying up the house in between napping and watching movies. Speaking of watching movies, my husband and I recently signed up for Netflix. (I know we are the last people in the world to do this, but like I've said before i like wondering the aisles at the movie store.) The on demand movies have been amazing during my recovery. I've probably watch 15-20 different movies. Two that I think everyone should check out are: The Business of Being Born and Food, Inc. I found both to be really informative and thought provoking. I also really liked After The Wedding, which is a foreign film I stumbled upon.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!

glad you're feeling better! I need to rent the business of being born! I want to see it so badly. We don't have netflix and I'm too lazy to return movies to Hollywood Video (I will pick them up, but the late fees from waiting to drop them back off get a little nuts).
sorry that you have to wear a mini-mattress! I had to go to pilates wearing a pad the other day. It was pretty much hell for an hour.
Totally weird that you watched The Business of Being Born...we just watched it, too! Random, random, random. It was quite interesting, though. So glad you're feeling better!
Glad you're feeling better, Im thinking of you this cycle!
I'm so glad you are feeling better! I hated the whole no-tampon thing! I hope and pray that this au natural cycle is it for you! It seems SO similar to mine because I got AF a few days after my lap as well. GL hun!
i'm glad you're feeling better. aren't movies the best medicine? also thank you for frequenting the smaller movies - you're keeping us in business, so on behalf of the indie/art house corner of hollywood - thank you!
