Pug Love

Ella, my pug, is my real first child. I've had her for almost 7 years, and she has been the queen of the castle from Day 1. Ella has never been really fond of children, and is insanely protective of me. Throughout my pregnancy, I was really worried about how Ella was going to be with Lillian. I assumed there would be a lot of jealousy, which definitely seemed to be the case. Ella wouldn't even acknowledge Lillian for the first month and a half. Lillian fell asleep in my arms after her morning feeding. I laid her down on the bed while I ran to the kitchen to grab a drink. When I returned I noticed Ella wasn't in her usual spot under the covers by my feet. After feeling around for her, I found her snuggled up next to Lillian! It was too cute!!!
